we thoroughly enjoyed our comfortable rooms, plus the staff was courteous. just a 15-minute stroll to the centre. for lunch or dinner go to aux p'tits anges, located so close to the hotel.
-
Elegant interior, friendly staff, nice location.
The room was not bad, but top floors roof was very, very low.
-
Friendly staff, very pleasant, good breakfast, nice swimmingpool, good value for money. Train and traffic noise cannot be denied but the advantage is being in the heart of the city and 15 minutes from the nicest beach of Europe.
-
The hotel is located very near large transport junction. In addition, there are tains passing by regularly under this very junction, which makes quite a substantial noise (even with all the windows shut). The superior double room did not have a mini-bar (fridge) or save box.
-
nice friendly family feeling, very pleasant and helpful staff, very comfortable and close to the action of cannes
-
Very good hotel, nicely decorated and equipped, good position not far from the cannes centre and from the beach (cca 10 mins walk). Very nice and clean swimming pool. Air conditioning silent and well working.
Room a bit small, but we had the chapest standard room, more expensive might be larger. Bathroom not very well ventilated and you could feel some smell when first time entering the room.
-
Lovely elegant hotel with very pretty gardens and pool are. Easy walk to center and beach. Beautiful clean rooms and comfy beds. Polite, helpful and English speaking staff.
Not much :) just really squeaky doors!!! We were woken up at 7am most mornings due to the doors squeaking and banging.

The location of the hotel was good. It was only a couple of minute walk into the retail and shopping district, but it was about as far away as you would want to go as it is on the edge of a more run down part of the city. The room did have a beautiful view of the city. The pool was very nice and the hotel lobby and interior hallways very clean and well decorated.
This is not a 4 star hotel as it holds itself out to be. At best, the room we had was a 2 star. Our room, while clean, was old, tired and badly in need of new paint, new curtains, new furniture and a new bed. It was tiny - there wasn't a spot on the floor where you could fully open our suitcases without hitting the wall or the bed. Friends stayed in another room and had the opposite experience. Internet is not free anywhere in the hotel. The woman at front desk (who seemed to be some form of management and was very grumpy every time we spoke to her) wanted to argue with me that the price of parking was in fact 22 Euros per day instead of the advertised 18 Euros. There are no ice machines. When we asked for ice at the front desk, we were given ice cubes one cup at a time.
-
Large and spacious room. Lovely old hotel
Tricky to find, especially at night as we arrived late
-
- The pool renovated. - The staff friendly and helpful
- The physical location - Very noicy (close to railroad and main street through Cannes) - Pool just adjacent to highway - Dark rooms, very long since rast refurbishing
-
Location and having pool were great and this is what you are paying for. The rest of hotel including our room was very average but in the top destinations nothing comes cheap. Car parking around the corner easy and convenient although a very tight squeeze getting in there. Staff were good and helpful. If you plan on spending most of your time out in about or by the pool then I would reccomend this hotel.
The rooms and bathroom are only 3 star at best. But it does the trick if your aware of this up front.
-
The swimming pool is alright. Especially in such location.Nice garden, too.
The style is old fashioned and all services too expensive.
-
Although is situated in front of a bypass, the front rooms are truly soundproof! You are only 5 minutes walk from the shops in Rue de Antibes and 10 minutes walk from the Cannes Palais des Festivals.
You have to pay for the Wi-Fi and it crashes continuously!
-
They seem To be trying To do their best In maintaining their 4th star, but The buildings structure seems a bit old and hard To navigate inside.
-
The pool area is excellent. The pool was clean and inviting and the loungers were not crammed in but had space and their design was stylish.
The only thing 'superior' about one of their 'superior rooms' is the fact that you get a pool view. This would be fine, but along with the pool view, if you are on the second floor, this view also includes a view of the motorway just outside of the grounds. On the first floor, your 'superior view' is obscured by palm trees.
